Kyle Garcia is proud and humbled to be a part of this production. A veteran of Empire Stage, appearing in “Blowing Whistles”, “Gilligan’s Fire Island”, Ronnie Larsen’s “Shooting Porn”, and most recently playing the tantalizing Ricky Martin in the “Golden Girls: The Musical Parody”. After many years of performing on the stage he is currently pursuing his career as TV and Film actor in Los Angeles; He is also a singer and songwriter. Kyle would like to thank the amazingly dedicated cast of “HookUps” for their support and hard work. Thanks to Ronnie for inviting him to have fun again! And last but not least, thank you to his friends and family for their constant love and support.
Howdy, men, and welcome to the show! Andy performed previously with Ronnie Larsen at Empire Stage as Mike in All-Male Peep Show. He has also worked with Ronnie as an executive producer, production designer, and costumer on other projects in South Florida, California and Chicago. Other performances at Empire Stage include: Carol Ann (plus 10!) in Jamie Morris’ Mommie Queerest (two productions), Rod in Sarah Kane’s Cleansed, and DJ in Mariah MacCarthy’s The All-American Genderf*ck Cabaret. Andy also played the bridesmaid, Veronica, in Jon and Juan’s Wedding at the Broward Center. Many thanks to this wonderful cast and crew!

Ronnie Larsen has been involved with the following Ft. Lauderdale productions either as the writer, director or producer and sometimes as all three: Making Porn, 10 Naked Men, Sex and Violence, All-Male Peep Show, Cocksucker: A Love Story, Shooting Porn, The Penis Talk Show, The Vagina Talk Show, Party, Naked Boys Singing, Happy Ending, Big Bright Star, The Naked Comedy Tour, 50 Shades of Felt, White Boy and now Hook Ups Vol. 1. If it's not on this list he had nothing to do with it.
Anton Simone is a SAG eligible actor who began acting in 2012, first appearing as an extra in the movie Rock of Ages. He then went on to pursue acting studies, and thereafter began performing in stage plays and musicals, and has appeared in numerous student and indie films. He is also a licensed massage therapist and enjoys the freedom this career choice allows him to pursue his passion of acting. Anton has taken on many different roles from Police Officer to Kidnapper. He is a dedicated actor, and his background in psychology has deepened his understanding of human motivation and action, and aids him as he delves into the lives and minds of his characters.
Steven is originally from Flushing, NY and studied musical theatre on Long Island at Stony Brook University. He performs regularly throughout South Florida. Steven was featured as one of “Palm Beach County’s Funniest Stand Up Comedians”. He’s performed his Stand Up/Cabaret routine in New York, Miami, West Palm Beach, and Los Angeles. Recently Steven was skyBOY in the hysterical interactive show Grandma Sylvia's Funeral, Norman in Neil Simon's The Star Spangled Girl, Michael in tick, tick...BOOM!, and the lecherous Uncle Ernie in The Who's TOMMY. He also appeared in productions of Arsenic & Old Lace, South Pacific, and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Steven is an active member of Shooting Blanks Improv, a hysterical comedy troupe performing regularly throughout South Florida. He is extremely thankful for this opportunity and proud of the amazing Hook Ups Vol. 1 cast and crew. Oh. And Steven really does hate Grindr, so hit him him up on GROWLr!

PETER KENNEDY: Peter is a New England based playwright and teacher. His plays have received staged readings or productions as part of national festivals produced by T. Schreiber Studio, The Secret Theatre, and Obligatory Theatre in New York City, City Theatre of Miami, Little Fish Theatre of Los Angeles, The Boston Theatre Marathon, The University of Houston, Theatre InspiraTO in Toronto, Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview, IL, and Salem Theatre Company of MA. Peter was also selected as a finalist for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Heideman Award.

Her work has been produced and/or developed around the United States and abroad by First Person Theatre, What If? Productions, The Alley Theatre, Torrent Theatre, Starlite Players, Fury Theatre, Otherworld Theatre, M.T. Pockets Theatre, Playwrights’ Roundtable, and more. Irene is a member of the Dramatists Guild and earned an MFA in writing from Seton Hill University. Her other publications include short stories, short plays, interactive plays, alternate reality games, and a novel.

Contrived Ending earned feature film and Off-Broadway contracts with Starry Night Entertainment. The Rank and the Bloodrush was a finalist for The O’Neill Festival’s New Play Conference. He has been an instructor for young playwrights with Curious New Voices since 2008 and with The Denver Center for Performing Arts since 2014. Hartwell is Colorado's first Regional Representative for the Dramatists Guild of America.
